Willamette Valley Home Builders Association and Lincoln County Home Builders Association are the local chapters of the National Association of Homebuilders and Oregon Home Builders Association for Linn, Benton, and Lincoln Counties. OHBA is a professional, not-for-profit, trade association comprised of builders, remodelers, material suppliers, subcontractors, consultants, lending institutions, utilities and others involved in housing and building-related fields. Founded in 1964, the Oregon Home Builders Association functions as a housing industry advocate, providing government relations, educational opportunities and builder and consumer informational resources. OHBA is an affiliate of the National Association of Home Builders and has 14 local home builders associations and more than 3000 members across Oregon. The residential construction industry represents 196,222 jobs and more than $3 billion in the Oregon economy. The state and local associations play a crucial role in providing jobs and housing for Oregonians.
